To the wonderful women I have cared for at Montclair Breast Center,

Thirty years ago I joined Dr. Nancy Elliott as a breast surgeon at Montclair Breast Center. It is very difficult for me to say this, but it is now time for me to retire.  My last day will be March 1st.

I know you understand what I mean when I say we have been through a lot together. I am humbled by the way in which you let me into your lives.  I have had the honor of taking care of many of your daughters, and even your granddaughters. There are not many doctors who can say that.

I am sorry to leave you, but I know that you will be in excellent hands with the surgeons, radiologists, and physician’s assistant available to continue your care at Montclair Breast Center.

I will miss all of you, and I will think about you. You are an amazing group of women and I’ve enjoyed the moments we spent together. Taking care of you has been a joy, a privilege, and an honor.

I wish all of you the very best.
