Medical Assistant

Provide assistance to various healthcare services following established MBC policies and protocols including but not limited to patient intakes, obtaining vital signs, electronic medical record management, patient triage (HPI, past medical history, surgical history, etc), and cross training to assist with front desk personnel functions.

Essential Functions &  Responsibilities:

  • Greets, receives and prepares patients for appointments/procedures; obtain new patient history and/or update established patient history, measures vital signs and records information for a multi-provider, multi-location practice
  • Maintains inventory of medical supplies, materials, office/department, and patient records
  • Coordinates patient flow and competes necessary prep work for all providers
  • Cleaning and stocking of the exam rooms in preparation for the next patient and the following day
  • Scanning patient documents and importing them into the proper patient charts (this includes pathology reports and sending to the proper providers for review)
  • Managing the genetic counseling/testing logging and managing of the program Cancer IQ once results are received
  • Potential inter-office travel requirements
  • Scheduling appointments for patient as they leave for their future exams, scheduling MRIs and learning the MRI protocol

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with Medical Assistant certification/registration a plus
  • Completion of formal training program from an accredited program in medical assistant or nursing program
  • 3+ years working as a Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred but not required
  • Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy and discipline
  • Knowledge of computers and electronic medical records
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with strong multitasking and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of EMR

Radiologist

Montclair Breast Center, a member of Genesis Health is actively recruiting a NJ State board-licensed radiologists to join our team providing interpretation of 2D and 3D breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic Mammography, All Breast Ultrasound (ABUS), and diagnostic Ultrasound.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Board Certified and Licensed in NJ, with additional state licenses a plus
  • Any candidates for Breast Imaging should be Breast Fellowship trained
  • 2+ years of radiologist experience
  • Must be able to interpret breast imaging including ABUS
  • Must be proficient with digital imaging software (PACS/RIS), voice recognition programs and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Medical Office Receptionist

The receptionist is responsible for the tone of Montclair Breast Center, greeting patients and then guiding them through a pre-determined schedule of appointments through scheduling next appointments and collecting any necessary co-pays. The receptionist will also politely answer incoming calls, deal with any appropriate issues, and direct calls to the correct person when needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
  • Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
  • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
  • Notifying providers of patient arrivals
  • Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
  • Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
  • Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
  • Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred but not required
  • Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy and discipline
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedure and protocols
